BOONE, Iowa—Tuesday’s Primary Election will help set much of the field for the November General Election. Those wishing to go to the polls Tuesday can vote between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. For voters that aren’t sure where they should go to vote, the Iowa Secretary of State website seems to have the go to information. Voters need to remember the new law regarding identification and information on that is available here. Voters will also need to identify which party’s ballot they want. Voters can change party affiliation for the Primary Election if they so choose. Auditor and Commissioner of Elections in Boone County, Philippe E. Meier says election judges are prepared to deal with issues that might arise.
