BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce the Pufferbilly Days™ Parade winners of 2021:
In the Business category:
First Place – Fareway Stores
Second Place – United Bank of Iowa
Third Place – Kluss Reflexology
In the Novelty category:
First Place – Steam Locomotive
Second Place – Squeaky Clean
Third Place – Elite Power Tumbling
In the NonProfit category:
First Place – Friends of the Ledges
Second Place – Daughters of the American Revolution
Third Place – Boone County Hospital Family Birth Center
In the Marching category:
First Place – Carol Renae Dance
In celebration of the 2021 theme, “Back on Track!”, this year’s parade included Grand Marshal Sally Courter, great floats, the Boone High Marching Band, classic cars, old tractors, and many mascots, including Cy, Herky, the DMACC Bear, and VicTOR the Boone Toreador.
The parade was independently judged by a panel of community members. All parade entrants were given the option to be included in or omitted from judging.
