BOONE, Iowa—Boone YSS hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday for a months long project that soon will be to educate parents, caregivers, and community members about the warning signs of risky behavior and substance use in teens. Jeannette Flynn said many people helped make the project a reality. She says people can step inside a simulated teenager’s bedroom where everyday items may not be what they seem. This exhibit helps adults sharpen their awareness and equips them with tools to start critical conversations—before experimentation turns into something more dangerous.

Ribbon cutting held despite the rain for the “Hidden in Plain Sight” mobile, interactive display.

Fareway was also recognized with signage on the exterior of the trailer.
