Rick Sherrard, 54, Boone, Iowa
BOONE, Iowa—Rick Lee Sherrard, 54, of Boone, was born September 18, 1971 in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert and Bonnie (Anderson) Sherrard. Rick passed away Thursday February 5, 2026 in Iowa City, Iowa.
He grew up in Boone, Iowa, graduating from Boone Junior-Senior High School. He worked a variety of jobs over the years with a special mention to Iowa State University and Tri Lite Windows.
Rick served two years in the United States Navy.
Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Sherrard.
Those who survive include his father, Robert Sherrard, and brother, Jerry Sherrard
A private family graveside service will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Boone at a later date.
