River Level Leads to Road Closures

BOONE, Iowa—It seems like it’s getting to be a pretty regular announcement.  Due to the level on the Des Moines River, the Boone County Engineer’s Office has announced the following road closures:

Due to water over the road, the following roads have been temporarily closed:

·         155^th Street between Kale Road and Mission Lane (the Big Eddy)

·         Juniper Road between 130^th Street and 150^th Street

These roads will reopen as soon as the water recedes.
