BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 93-year old Robert ‘Bob’ Nelson of West Allis, Wisconsin and formerly of Boone, Iowa. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the South Marion Cemetery south of Stratford, Iowa. Military Honors will be provided by the Boone Veterans Council. Bob’s body has been cremated. Burial of his cremated remains will follow the Graveside Service.
Following the Graveside Service, a ‘Celebration of Bob’s Life’ will be held at the Boone V.F.W. Hall, 815 Keeler Street, Boone, Iowa.
The Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.
