BOONE, Iowa—Ronald John Santi, 81, of Boone, Iowa, passed away at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone on Friday, July 29, 2022. He was born on January 23, 1941, in Boone County, Iowa, the son of John and Catherine (Carroll) Santi.
According to Ron’s wishes, his body has been donated to Genesis Legacy Whole Body Donation Foundation in Memphis, Tennessee, for advancement in medical research.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Augustana Lutheran Church in Boone, Iowa, with Pastor Dan Solomon officiating.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and John “Red” Santi, and brother, Ray Santi.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Santi; daughter, Tami Santi; sons: Sean Santi (Janis Adamski) and Shane Santi (Dawn Fortuna); grandchildren: Sabastian, Madelynn, Angelo, Sophia, and Cooper Santi; brother, Richard (Carolyn) Santi; sister, Kathy (John) Monroe, as well as several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity or foundation of your choice.
