BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 93 year old Russell C. Root of Boone, Iowa and formerly of Burnside, Iowa. He passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa. There will be no funeral service. Burial will be held at the Fairview Cemetery, Dows, Iowa at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Boone Area Humane Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriner Hospital’s for Children.
