BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 85-year old Russell Simmons of Boone, Iowa. The service will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home, 609 7th Street, Boone, Iowa. Interment will take place at Boone Memorial Gardens, Boone, Iowa following the service.
Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family will be present and will receive friends at the funeral home at that time.
Memorials are suggested to go to the Boone Area Humane Society.
