
Sarah Kraayenbrink, Boone, Iowa
BOONE, Iowa—Sarah Maria Kraayenbrink, 2 ½ months, of Boone, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Children’s Nebraska Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
Sarah was born December 2, 2025 in Boone, Iowa, daughter of Gerrit and Rakel Kraayenbrink. Even though her life on earth was short, it was precious and used by God to forever touch our hearts. We miss her deeply, but we rejoice that she is with the Lord. Because of the finished work of the Lord Jesus on the cross, we can look forward to the day when we will see sweet Sarah again.
You will show me the path of life;

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Gordon (Anna) Kraayenbrink and Jane Van Gurp; maternal great-grandparents, Florentino (Evangelina) Gersan, and Ingvard (Klara) Mageroy; and uncle, Emanuel Mageroy.
Sarah is survived by her parents, Gerrit (Rakel) Kraayenbrink of Boone; siblings, Lydia, Martha, Julia, Titus, Stephen, Anita, Daniel, Andrew, and Matthew Kraayenbrink all of Boone; paternal grandparents, Jake (Betty) Kraayenbrink of Boone; paternal great-grandfather, Harry Van Gurp of Aylmer, Canada; maternal grandparents, Oystein (Evelyn) Mageroy of Aalesund, Norway; aunts and uncles, Arie (Joy) Kraayenbrink of Ames, Iowa, Evan Kraayenbrink of Palmerston, Canada, Carl Kraayenbrink of Palmerston, Canada, Anna Kraayenbrink of Boone, Ida (Jona) Walterbacher of Achern, Germany, Jacob Kraayenbrink of Boone, Jane Kraayenbrink of Boone, Grace Kraayenbrink of Boone, Cornelia Kraayenbrink of Boone, Janell Kraayenbrink of Boone, Ellen Kraayenbrink of Boone, Esther (Sigurd) Aure of Averoy, Norway, Johannes (Alyssa) Mageroy of Tampa, Florida, Rebecca (Nathanael) Finneran of Pensacola, Florida, Joshua (Amanda) Mageroy of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, February, 26, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Countryside Bible Chapel, 3998 Fenton Ave, Stratford, Iowa, 50249. The funeral service will be Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. at Countryside Bible Chapel. Burial will immediately follow the funeral in the South Marion Cemetery, Stratford. Luncheon to follow at Countryside Bible Chapel.
