Sgt. Ryan Palmer, Boone Police Department, talks about public safety tips during the summer season, especially burglary reports. He noted that reports are down but the risk remains. People need to lock their vehicles. He reminds people that if you see something, you should say something. He also reminds parents and guardians the there is a curfew and those under 18 could be cited. Palmer says for those attending the Boone County Fair, pay attention to traffic and drive defensively.
