BOONE, Iowa—Originally reported as an injury accident about 5:40 Thursday morning at “L” Avenue and 216th Drive between Boone and Ogden, the Boone County Sheriff’s Department has released information that there were actually no injuries. Authorities report that Jeffrey Chamberlin and Collin Merriam, both of Boone, were driving opposite directions and Merriam’s vehicle struck Chamberlin’s in the eastbound lane. Both vehicles spun and went into the ditch. Merriam was cited for improper use of lane. Condon’s responded to tow both vehicles.
