BOONE, Iowa—State Senator Jesse Green picked 9,171 votes in Boone County Tuesday in his effort to return for another term in the Iowa Senate. Challenger Margaret Liston received 5,557 votes. Senate District 24 also includes Green and Guthrie Counties and portions of Dallas and Story Counties.
