BOONE, Iowa-The Boone County Board of Supervisors adopted a proclamation Wednesday, recognizing National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. The mid-November proclamation is presented annually and this year, Jeanette Flynn, Boone County YSS Director and several members of the Boone County Hunger/Homeless Prevention Coalition were on hand to take part. Coalition members included Diane Hinderaker, Boone County Probation; Kim Kitterman, Futures Director-BCSD; Linda Munden, The Bridge Home.
