BOONE, Iowa—A lawsuit has been filed as a result of a recent story published in the Des Moines Register, about the Republican candidate for Boone County Attorney. In a statement for an Ottumwa Law Firm it was announced:
Former Assistant Wapello County Attorney and current Boone County Attorney Candidate Stephen Swanson filed suit in Wapello County District Court today against Wapello County Attorney Gary Oldenburger, Wapello County, Boone County Attorney Dan Kolacia and the Boone County Democratic Party for Iowa open records violations, other statutory employee personnel file violations and slander. Swanson is represented by Ottumwa Attorney Steven Gardner.
