BOONE, Iowa—The Iowa National Guard is hosting an open house until 4:00 this afternoon at the Aviation Support Facility. The open house features the platoon that operates and supports the Prophet and Shadow drones. Among those taking in the opportunity, students for Boone High School’s Aerospace Engineering class, part of the district’s STEM Academy. Shelly Vanyo is the instructor.
