CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa—Fifteen nonprofit organizations have received grants totaling more than $20,000 from the Alliant Energy Foundation. Julie Bauer, executive director of the Alliant Energy Foundation says “grant recipients represent so many wonderful groups who work to make life better in our state.” Locally, $1,000 grants were award to the Ericson Public Library for their Full Steam Ahead program and to Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity for their home build project.
The Foundation awarded over $329,000 during the most recent grant cycle.
