BOONE, Iowa—Voters in the United School District selected Rachael Gross to fill a vacant school board position in the First District. Gross received 56 votes to 43 for Ryan Arndorfer and 37 for George Mosby. The First District race developed when the seat was vacated.
The United Second District Ben Hershey outpolled Samantha Perry 72 to 60.
Lora Weyhrich was unopposed for the At-Large Board seat, receiving 120 votes.
The election results are unofficial until canvased by the Boone County Supervisors next week.
