Volunteers Remove Invasive Species During Volunteer Day

MADRID, Iowa—National Public Lands Day was last Saturday. The Ledges State Park celebrates with other state parks with a statewide Volunteer Day. The volunteer event at Ledges over the past couple of years has been the removal of invasive species. In total 45 volunteers worked for 2 hours each to help continue that project. Andy Bartlett, Manager of the Ledges State Park talks about it on Tuned In and what else is coming up in October.
