Boone County Emergency Management Director Dave Morlan has announced that there will be warming shelters in Boone County this week because of the cold temperatures and deadly wind chill. The shelters will be available from Tuesday morning, January 29th through Thursday afternoon, January 31st.
Boone County Hospital – Main Lobby daily from 7 AM to 9 PM. If needed after hours, report to the Emergency Room entrance for assistance.
Madrid Community Room -303 S. Water Street – Open 24 hours a day until Thursday afternoon
Ogden City Hall – 513 W. Walnut – Open daily from 8 AM to 5 PM. If longer hours are needed, they will try to accommodate.
Salvation Army Office – 509 Benton Street – Open daily from 9 AM to 4 PM. If additional assistance is needed, check with the staff.
