DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has updated information about the very active weather system impacting Iowa. At this time, there’s a marginal Risk for severe weather for central and eastern Iowa. The western and north central part of the state can expect blizzard conditions and high winds. This active weather system will impact the state until departing late tonight or Thursday morning.
