DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has updated the information concerning hazardous winter weather. A winter storm, with blizzard conditions expected. Significant drifting and impassable roads likely in some areas. High wind with 55-65+ mph wind gusts later today and tonight. Very Cold Tonight into Monday morning. The storm will affect much of Iowa, with the highest snow totals north and east occurring today through early Monday morning.
