DES MOINES, Iowa—The Des Moines National Weather Service has provided an update on the expected weather conditions affecting Iowa into next week. A large system with rain, snow and freezing rain, possible thunder storms and strong winds will be impacting the state. Northern Iowa will see accumulating snowfall Sunday then turning to all rain. Central and Southern Iowa will have mainly raind and thunderstorms. There will be gusting winds.
