
DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has updated information concerning heat, flash flooding and severe weather potential affecting much of Iowa for the next couple of days. A Heat Advisory is already in place for western, central and southern Iowa. Severe weather and heavy rainfall chances are expected over much of the area. Timing, the Heat Advisory is in effect today. Shower and storm chances exist through Thursday.
