DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has provided updated information concerning the following hazardous winter weather including snow tonight with strong winds and near-blizzard potential Wednesday afternoon and evening followed by dangerous cold Friday. Snowfall tonight will be North of Highway 30 (heaviest snow along Highway 20 corridor). Snow will continue late through tonight; then wind and near-blizzard conditions possible Wednesday afternoon and evening.
