DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has updated information about the expectation of severe storm potential later today, especially this afternoon and evening. Intense damaging wind gusts possible, especially east of I-35 and south of US 20. Heat wave statewide through Monday.
