DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has provided updated information concerning hazardous weather in the form of severe thunderstorms (first threat of the year) over much of Iowa. The first round of storms will be overnight tonight; the second round will occur from late Friday afternoon into Friday night.
