
DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has released updated information concerning the following possible severe weather conditions. Two rounds of storms are expected Wednesday. All severe hazards possible in the afternoon (damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain and an isolated tornado) but there remains uncertainty in storm development. The Weather Service has higher confidence in morning storms, with large hail and damaging winds the main threats. The morning storms will be found from northern to eastern Iowa. Afternoon storms will cover much of Iowa, but particularly southeast Iowa. Timing will be Wednesday morning through early evening with multiple rounds possible.
