DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has updated information concerning the following hazardous weather including winds gusting 40-50 mph, falling temperatures resulting in refreeze, and potential for snow bursts or squalls. Wind gusts will occur over much of Iowa, snow burst potential will be highest in northern Iowa. These weather conditions are expected Thursday late morning into the evening. There is a Wind Advisory 9 am – midnight.
