The Ogden softball team had a 12-2 victory over Panorama in four innings Monday, June 30, fueled by a huge performance from Breaunna Wenger.
After giving up two runs in the top of the first, the Bulldogs responded with three runs in the bottom half, then broke the game open with a seven-run second inning.
They added single runs in the third and fourth to end the game early via the run rule.
Wenger was the star of the night, going 2-for-3 with a triple, a home run, and 5 RBIs.
Aubrey Leonard and Grace Christensen each scored twice, while Adi Banks, Harleigh Janssen, and Lauren Mathews all contributed with hits and RBIs.
Katie Wilcoxson earned the complete game win in the circle, allowing just two runs and striking out one.
With the win, Ogden improves to 17-11 overall and 10-8 in the West Central Conference, while Panorama drops to 6-19 (2-15 conference).
The Bulldogs return to action tonight at 6 p.m., hosting Baxter (2-18) in a non-conference matchup.
The game will be broadcast live on FM 101.5, AM 1590, and streaming at kwbglive.com, with sports director Ryan Wendt on the call.
