BOONE, Iowa—Strong winds associated with a storm system passing through Central Iowa did cause varying damages locally. One of the reports was the Fareway Stage at the Greenspace at 8th and Story in Boone. The Boone Water Environment Station in McHose Park reported 2.89″ of rain for the previous 24-hours as of 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
