BOONE, Iowa—A Boone County jury found a 20 year old Boone resident guilty of Child Endangerment last week.  The Boone County Attorney’s office reported that the jury found Ninive Hernandez, guilty of Child Endangerment in violation of Iowa Code section 726.6(7).  The sentence for Child Endangerment ranges from probation to up to two years in prison […]

Aiden Rice became the first child to successfully complete the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the Ericson Public Library.  Aiden’s name will be added to the 1,000 Book Wall of Fame and he will have a bookplate with his name on it in one of the books in the library collection.  Congratulations, Aiden!

The grounds of the Farm Progress Show are starting to take shape. The show will run August 28-30. Traffic flow on 30 and 17 will be impacted on those days.
