Rain and wind combined on Wednesday night to raise havoc at the Boone County Fairgrounds.  This tent near the Free Stage suffered a bit, but Fair Board members rallied to get things put back together in a hurry.  Rainfall measured .79″ from 8 on Wednesday morning to 8 on Thursday morning.  Additional rains came through […]

Boone County 4-Her McKayla Dozier of Ogden was awarded the 2019 Boone County Ag Youth Award by Nick Lentz of Vision Bank of Ogden at Thursday’s Boone County Fair.  Daughter of David and Roxanne Dozier, McKayla has been active in 4H for many years.  She will be attending Iowa State in the fall.
