Monday evening a Black Lives Matter demonstration was peacefully held in downtown Boone with approximately 200 people in attendance. The BLM group then marched from downtown Boone on Story Street to Mamie Eisenhower Avenue to Carroll Street, back to Mamie’s Birthplace to Eighth Street and back to 8th and Story.
