Jeanne Wiebke, Boone County Historical Society talks about the current display at the Museum and Historical Center. Every November the display turns to Veteran’s and she says there are several uniforms that have not been included previously. She also says she would like to collect information for Vietnam Era Veterans for next November and explains how to make contact. Julie Trepa, Superintendent, Boone Community School District talks about the recent school board meeting. Trepa did talk about recent decisions by the board to being moving ahead with earlier recommendations for facility improvements. They will work on the athletic facilities Master Plan. Trepa also talked about the discussion on requiring all Juniors to take the ACT Test. For several years, the District has paid for all juniors to take the test. Aired Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
