John Roosa, Administrator, Boone County Landfill and Recycling. Roosa talks about the ongoing efforts to reduce municipal solid waster coming to the Landfill. The biggest diversion is finding new places for Story County and the City Ames to dispose of material previously sent to the Boone County Landfill. Roosa also talks about recycling efforts and some of the challenges with recycling over Christmas and New Years. Aired Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
