ALTOONA, Iowa—Members of the Boone Hope Foundation were among those recognized Friday evening by the Robert D. and Billie Ray Center at Drake University. The Hope Foundation was recognized as the “Business/Organization of Character”.
Ann Haugland said the honor not only recognizes the foundation, but the community as well
The Boone Hope Foundation has been in place 14 years. The sole fund raiser, “The Festival of Hope” is held the First Saturday in December. Haugland says it’s turned into a social event
The Hope Foundation was recognized during the 2018 Iowa Character Awards Ceremony held Friday at the Meadows Events and Conference Center in Altoona. Here is the list of awards:
