BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 92 year old Velma Jenkins of rural Boone, Iowa and the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone, Iowa.  The service will be held Monday, August 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Boone, Iowa.  Burial will be held in the Rose Hill Cemetery, west of Boone, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone, Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., where the family will be present and will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Visitation Monday will be held at the First Baptist Church in Boone from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.

In memory of Velma, memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church in Boone or to the Arthritis Foundation.
