Posted on 22 September 2018 by KWBG

BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Democrats rallied Saturday as Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Fred Hubbell visited the Boone County Democratic Headquarters at 705 Story Street Saturday.  Hubbell talked about his campaign with Rita Hart and their effort to win in November and stop what he called the Reynolds Administration’s undermining of values important to Iowans.  Hubbell talked about a number of issues including mental health and dealing with the privatization of managed care.  He also talked about water quality, the loss of educators to neighboring states and declining income.

Hubbell said the turnouts for visits show him that Iowans want a different direction…

Hubbell also said he feels he can win, but only if Iowans make sure they vote…

The Reynolds and Hubbell Campaigns have agreed to three debates in October.  The first October 10th in Des Moines, the second October 17th in Sioux City and the third on October 21st in Davenport.
