BOONE, Iowa—The Boone City Plan and Zoning Commission has reviewed the proposed site plan for a new building for Boone Family Chiropractic. The building would be located at the north east corner of South Linn Street and Five Mile Drive. The site plan from Grabau Construction and Crossfields Chiropractic Office Design was considered by the commission during a Monday morning meeting at the Boone City Hall. The plan calls for the construction of a 4,332 square foot office building. Among the items the commission considered were a delay in sidewalk installation and also a reduction in some of the parking. The Plan and Zoning Commission does not take final action on site plans but does forward recommendations to the city council to consider. The matter is expected to be on the Council’s agenda for their meeting on October 15th.
