BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 89-year old Elmer Heimerman of Boone, Iowa and the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone, Iowa.  The service will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone, Iowa.  Fellowship and a luncheon will follow the service .

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone, Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Visitation Friday will be held at the Church of the Sacred Heart from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, friends may call at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan, Iowa from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at which time a Prayer Service will be held, followed by burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Military Honors will be provided.

In memory of Elmer, memorials may be directed to the family.
