BOONE, Iowa—Patricia Joy “Patty” Burns, age 86, of Boone, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026, surrounded by her family at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Patty’s Life will be held Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, 1006 6th Street, Boone. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Beaver Catholic Cemetery near Granger.
