Boone County Democrats Select Uthe and Meier In Supervisor Race

BOONE, Iowa—The results are unofficial and there are a number of absentee ballots that could still be counted, but it appears that Boone County Democratic Primary voters selected Jim Uthe and Philippe E. Meier to be their candidates in the General Election in November.  Uthe led the results with 1,259 votes followed by Meier with 1,112 votes.  However, Brian C. Reimers of Ogden is close behind with 1,097 votes.  Bryan White finished with 470 votes.

Meanwhile, Republican Candidates Bill Zinnel and Eric Kretzinger advanced to the General Election with 1,599 and 1,591 votes respectively.
