BOONE, Iowa—The Annual Dragoon River Romp in Boone County is being postponed until 2021. Organizers had planned to hold the event in August, and this year looked good to be able to collect refuse and debris from both the Des Moines River and the along the river banks. But, COVID-19 has had an impact on the putting the award winning river clean-up project together. The announcement was made Tuesday morning by Carrie Self the Keep Boone County Beautiful Coordinator.
