BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 88 year old Dorothy Louise (Pike) Garland of Boone, Iowa. She passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020 at her home in Boone, Iowa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone, Iowa on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Masks are request and social distancing will be in place. Burial will be held in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Boone, Iowa.
Due to COVID-19, the family is not hold a public visitation. The family will have a private viewing on Sunday, August 2, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Dorothy L. Garland Family, C/O Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 15, Boone, IA 50036, for later designation to the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone or the Mary Greeley Medical Center Hospice.
