Boone, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 77 year old Dewell Hollingsworth of Ames, Iowa and formerly of Boone, Iowa. He passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Eastern Star Masonic Home, Boone, Iowa with his family at his side. A private family service will be held Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone, Iowa. Burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery, located north of Madrid, Iowa.
Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone, Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Des Moines First Men’s Ministry, as that was close to Dewell’s heart.
