BOONE, Iowa—On Saturday, December 14, 2019, The Salvation Army of Boone and Boone County Emergency Management hosted their First Annual First Responders Bell Ring Competition. In one day five First Responder Teams (Boone Fire, Boone Police, Boone Sheriff, Madrid Fire & Police, Ogden Fire & Police) raised over $5,000 for The Salvation Army of Boone.
The Salvation Army of Boone and the Boone County Emergency Management Office proudly announces their Second Annual First Responders Bell Ring Competition…however, with a twist. This years Bell Ring Competition will take place virtually. Six agencies will be in competition: Boone Fire, Boone Police, Boone EMS, Boone County Sheriff’s, Ogden Fire & Police, and Madrid Fire & Police.
From Saturday, December 12 to Thursday, December 24 you will be able to help your favorite First Responders win the traveling trophy and a pizza party for the agency.
