BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements will be set for 48 year old Jamie Alan Wiebers (Slick) of Boone, Iowa. He passed away at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Jamie was born on October 28, 1972 in Sac City, Iowa the son of Gary Weibers and Terri (Lynch) Haberer.
Jamie had many hobbies including boating, building custom motorcycles, car mechanics, and automotive upholstery. He had the ability and talent to build and or fix anything. Jamie was well known by all as a mechanical genius and a guru of knowledge. He also enjoyed being outdoors and on the lake with his dogs Skinny and Sylus as well as working in the yard taking care of his plants.
Jamie was preceded in death by his mother Terri Haberer; uncles: Ron Wiebers; Derrell Ray Lynch, and John Wirtjers; paternal grandparents, Don and Elaine Wiebers and maternal grandparents, Derrell and Janice Lynch.
Jamie is survived by his dogs (children) Skinny and Sylus; father Gary Wiebers of Boone, IA; brother Rylee Wiebers of Boone, IA; sisters: Amanda (Mike) Gross of Boone, IA; Jodi (Ben) Hummer of Hinsdale, IL, and Baillie Wiebers of Kansas City, MO, as well as many other relatives and friends.
