BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements are pending for 88 year old Helen Jean Mattson of Boone, Iowa. Helen passed away December 6, 2023 at the Israel Family Hospice House, Ames, Iowa. Her body has been cremated. The family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date.
