BOONE, Iowa—Boone Public Works released an update on the progress being made on the Story Street Mill and Overlay Project. The past week was spent doing concrete work on the west side of Story Street from Mamie Eisenhower to 9th Street. Next week the schedule calls for asphalt work and the final work on manholes by the end of the week. Work is expected to move north of the Union Pacific Railroad crossing on Story Street the following week and will continue to 11th Street.
